2. Gender and Race in Advertising from the Inside Out - ADVE 4200
Gender and race have recently become the focal point of controversy in almost every industry, and advertising is no exception. This class will not only boost your GPA - it will give you an interesting look into diversity in the advertising industry, and the effect of diversity in advertising on the consumer.
3. Being Human - ANTH 1001
If you want to take a class that will be interesting as well as an easy A, then this is the class for you! You'll get a thorough introduction to anthropology - specifically sociocultural anthropology, linguistics, biological anthropology, and archaeology. You'll look at the global diversity of cultural experiences, ideologies, and ideals, with an emphasis on understanding your own culture within the global framework.
4. Foundations of Human Communication, Culture and Society - COMM 1000
Communication is a skill you're going to need for the rest of your life, so this course won't just be an easy A; it's also useful information to have in your social toolbox. You'll look at communication in interpersonal and small group situations as well as on a larger scale, from the ground up.

Ever wanted to write a novel - or even a short story or poem? Then this class is perfect for you! You'll engage in creative writing with the end goal of better understanding the cultural stage on which literature has been created throughout history.
8. Film Studies - ENGL 4740
If you like watching films, this is a great course to take to boost your GPA. You'll analyze different films based on a survey of film history, a specific genre, or a specific filmmaker as chosen by the professor. You'll also look at the comparisons between Hollywood, Bollywood, independent filmmakers, and other globally produced films.
